Heath Hardman is an experienced trial attorney and a decorated U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran who is seeking election as Associate Circuit Judge, Division III, in Howell County, Missouri. The caseload for Division III is primarily criminal cases, probate cases, traffic cases, mental health hearings, small claims, and other cases assigned by the Circuit Judge and/or Supreme Court of Missouri. Heath is experienced in all those areas of law.

Heath’s parents graduated from Willow Springs High School in Howell County, Missouri. They joined the Army after high school and were stationed in Kansas and then Missouri. During his childhood, Heath spent time in Florida and Missouri. Heath attended high school in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

After high school, Heath joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served nearly 11 years. During his military service, Heath served in four combat deployments, two in Iraq and two in Afghanistan, and received military decorations for his service in both combat and peacetime.

After his military service, Heath completed the final semesters of his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy before attending law school in Albany, New York. During law school, Heath was the Editor-in-Chief of Albany Government Law Review and graduated with honors. During law school, Heath completed an internship in the Family Violence Litigation Clinic and in a private law office. After law school, Heath worked at the New York State Court of Appeals (New York’s highest court) for three years, before moving back to Howell County where his family roots are.

After moving back to Missouri, Heath joined a law firm where he practiced numerous areas of law in Howell County and multiple surrounding counties. Four years later, Heath became an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Howell County and the City Prosecutor for the City of West Plains. Presently, Heath has his own law office and continues to serve as the City Prosecutor for the City of West Plains. Heath also serves as the Discipleship & Connections Pastor for Genesis Church in West Plains, Missouri.

Heath has multiple family members in Howell County, including his mother, step-father, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, cousins, and grandmother. Some of Heath’s relatives who lived in Howell County have passed away in recent years, including his grandfather, uncle, and his father, who is survived by Heath’s step-mother. Other family members have moved to other places in Missouri and elsewhere.

Heath lives in the West Plains area and owns a home just outside city limits. He is married to Trish Hardman, and together they have eight children and eight grandchildren. Heath enjoys traveling with his wife, studying the Bible, playing guitar, reading, writing, hunting, hiking, and spending time with his family.
