With nearly 11 years of military service and years of legal experience across criminal, civil, probate, and family law matters, Heath brings proven leadership, discipline, and real-world courtroom experience to the bench. As a former Howell County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, current City Prosecutor for West Plains, and attorney who has practiced at every level of Missouri courts, Heath understands the importance of applying the law fairly and consistently. He has handled serious criminal cases, family matters, probate disputes, appeals, and countless other legal proceedings that directly impact the lives of local families. Heath’s military service was recognized through numerous decorations and awards, including the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. His combat deployments earned him two Iraq Campaign Medals and two Afghanistan Campaign Medals, along with the NATO Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Heath also received three Marine Corps Good Conduct Medals, two Joint Meritorious Unit Awards, and two Navy Meritorious Unit Commendations in recognition of his leadership, professionalism, and dedicated service.
